    A gem of the past Pros: it's a decent hotel in the heart of Little Tokyo. There aren't a whole lot of nice options aside from the other one that's a block away that's normally around the same price or more expensive with much smaller rooms. Prices are decent considering the age of the hotel. Service is great as with most Hilton Hotels. Rooms are clean and spacious for the price. The hotel itself looks decent even with the age. The Kyoto Garden that they have is a nice touch and looks decent. They also provide warm cookies in request that taste great. Cons: You can tell that this hotel when it first opened was a top luxury hotel. Sadly it is showing it's age. Although it looks like upkeep is fine, but it's overdue for an overhaul. Hard to notice some of it due to good upkeep, but things like popcorn ceilings in all rooms, old windows with poor insulation and sound isolation (my double paned windows at home most likely do a better job and they're not the most recent and mid grade at that) still have wallpaper all over the place. It's not peeling, but it's noticeable. Batherooms overall are fine, but it goes with the age of the hotel. Price wise it's decent, but not the best. Parking is expensive.. $47 for overnight Bottom line: it's not a bad hotel. Priced where it should be most of the time I suppose. Shows it's age, but with the still limited options at the heart of Little Tokyo.. This is likely still the best option for the immediate area.
